ART DECO DAY
Art Deco Day was tremendous. It all started when everyone arrived all fancy. I was wearing a dress, pearls and a headband with a rose on it. There was everything there - old fashioned cars, 1930's music and a parade. I got to go in one of the old fashioned cars! It was so cool. I went in the yellow one called Dingo. I liked it because it had no seatbelts and comfy leather seats. Then we had a Long Lunch. All my food was wrapped in paper with string. We played knuckle stones. I was terrible at it! My favourite game was hop-scotch. We danced the Charlston. It was hard, but fun. For the parade we went up the steps, passed room 7 and 8, down the path, passedroom 6, passed Mr Fox's office, then stopped at the carpark. I will never forget that day.

Art Deco Day was fantastic. I came to school wearing black, an old man's hat and a white shirt that had buttons that when you open them it's attached to another shirt with an eagle on it. I wore black shorts too. Everyone looked fantastic. We had a great parade which finished at the carpark. There were five old fashioned cars - yellow, blue, dark dark blue and two light light brown ones. Stanley, Sam, Jazzy, Luke, Innes and I went in the yellow one. The horn sounded like an oga. Then we had a very long lunch. There was 1930's music. I danced to it. My lunch box was an Anzac tin. My worst game was dancing the Charlston. My favourite was hoops. It was a good way to end the term.
