Miss Blood locked the classroom door and hurried to her desk. She plummeted her false vampire teeth on her desk of doom.
Brennan had told me that when he was in Miss Blood's class a girl called Blenda stayed at school and was never seen again. He also said there were blood stains all over the wooden floor, underneath the scabby old cabinet and under the stairs leading to ... well, no-one knows except the teacher!
Miss Blood looked like someone who would smoke 22,000 cigarettes a day. Her false teeth are ten times bigger than her mouth and shaped like vampire teeth.
At lunch I went to play with my new friend Claudia. We mapped and planned our escape root. Claudia said, "We'll get caught by Miss Blood and never seen again!"
A terrible strike came before a loud rumble that shook the ground and we soon silently slipped back to our desks ... but no sign of Miss Blood? Without thinking I sprinted as fast as I could to the creepy cabinet under the large stairs. I had no idea Miss Blood was in her office up the stairs. Everyone fell into a sudden silence as Miss Blood tip-toed down the stairs. She crept very close to the door where I was hiding, I could see her through the key-hole. She tip-toed to another cupboard and brought out her purse. She yelled, "we will do the roll now to make sure everyone is here."
My heart pounded as she pulled out a chihuahua. The class went, "Ohh," like the chihuahua was cute.
"NO! NO! NO! Not 'Ohh' ... Scary, dangerous Arrh!" Miss Blood hissed.
She did the roll and trying to be nice she left me til last ... "Kate? Kate! Alright, out you come Shivers."
She pulled out the chihuahua and pinched him. Suddenly he turned into a werewolf, well not quite a werewolf, but a scary looking wolf. She tied a lead around Shivers neck. Shivers was called Shivers because he gave everyone the shivers all down their backs. He ran everywhere, until he came to my cupboard. Miss Blood opened the door and seized me by the arm. She pulled me to her false teeth. She was blabbering on about something, I had no idea what she was saying because she'd taken out her false teeth ... and that's why I went home with nine fingers.
